En 1968 fue declarado Monumento Hist\u00f3rico-Art\u00edstico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se trata de un edificio de estilo <strong>barroco <\/strong>construido inicialmente para ser un <strong>colegio de marineros<\/strong>. En este colegio-seminariose ense\u00f1aba a los los ni\u00f1os hu\u00e9rfanos y emplearlos as\u00ed en los barcos que iban a las Indias.
