El palacio original se edific\u00f3 en la Alta Edad Media. Se conservan algunos vestigios de arte isl\u00e1mico y, de la etapa posterior a la conquista castellana, un espacio palaciego mud\u00e9jar y otro de estilo g\u00f3tico. En reformas posteriores se a\u00f1adieron elementos renacentistas, manieristas\u200b y barrocos.
