Vivi\u00f3 posteriormente en T\u00e1nger (Marruecos) antes de trasladarse a Sevilla, donde permaneci\u00f3 la mayor parte de su vida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Form\u00f3 con sus cu\u00f1ados y su sobrina Carmelilla el grupo de &#8216;<strong>La Familia Montoya<\/strong>&#8216; que consigue abrirse hueco en el mundo del flamenco por los a\u00f1os 70. La formaci\u00f3n consigue un gran \u00e9xito al presentar la cara m\u00e1s \u00edntima y espont\u00e1nea del flamenco. Su arte queda plasmado en Triana (1976), En familia (1978), Macama jonda (1983), El \u00e1ngel (1993) y Un gitano de ley (1997). Adem\u00e1s, participa en dos de las cumbres audiovisuales del flamenco: El \u00e1ngel y Rito y geograf\u00eda del cante. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fue la mujer del bailaor Juan Montoya, madre de la cantaora<strong> Lole Montoya<\/strong>, del dueto Lole y Manuel, y abuela de la cantante <strong>Alba Molina<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Tangos.
