{"id":1133,"date":"2022-07-08T07:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-07-08T05:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordle.angelvilches.com\/sevilla\/?p=1133"},"modified":"2022-12-12T12:37:02","modified_gmt":"2022-12-12T11:37:02","slug":"gelan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wordle.angelvilches.com\/sevilla\/gelan\/","title":{"rendered":"Gel\u00e1n"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Gel\u00e1n era la firma period\u00edstica de \u00c1ngel G\u00f3mez Beades, <strong>fotoperiodista y escritor<\/strong> que fue un testigo de excepci\u00f3n de los acontecimientos de Sevilla en el siglo XX.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Form\u00f3 parte de las redacciones de los diarios <strong>El Noticiero Sevillano<\/strong> y L<strong>a Uni\u00f3n<\/strong> y cubri\u00f3 todo tipo de informaciones. Despu\u00e9s de la Guerra Civil fue corresponsal de la agencia <strong>Europa Press<\/strong> y trabaj\u00f3 en <strong>El Correo de Andaluc\u00eda<\/strong> hasta su jubilaci\u00f3n en 1973 y en la <strong>Hoja del Lunes <\/strong>editada por la Asociaci\u00f3n de la Prensa de Sevilla. Gran parte de su archivo se conserva en la Fototeca Municipal de Sevilla y sus datos biogr\u00e1ficos est\u00e1n recogidos en la Real Academia de la Historia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c1ngel Gel\u00e1n fue nombrado socio de honor del Ateneo de Sevilla y recibi\u00f3 en vida la Medalla del Trabajo, otorgada por el Gobierno de la naci\u00f3n. Tambi\u00e9n recibi\u00f3, entre otros galardones, la Medalla de Oro de la Federaci\u00f3n Andaluza de F\u00fatbol. La Agrupaci\u00f3n Art\u00edstica \u00c1lvarez Quintero, a petici\u00f3n de Gel\u00e1n como uno de los fundadores, recibi\u00f3 la Medalla de la Ciudad que concede el Ayuntamiento.
